Performatrin® Kitten Formula Cat Food is recommended for Kittens up to 10 months of age and for breeding cats, while pregnant or nursing. The amount of food required to maintain your Kitten in an optimum body condition varies according to numerous factors, including size, age and activity level. Use the chart as a guide but make adjustments according to your Kitten’s individual needs. Ideally, divide your Kitten’s daily portion into 2 equal meals per day. Feed pregnant and nursing cats sufficiently to maintain good body condition. During the last three weeks of pregnancy and while nursing, mothers will require two to three times their normal daily food intake.
When feeding Performatrin® Kitten Formula Cat Food for the first time, a gradual change from your Kitten’s current food will minimize digestive upset. Mix ¼ part Performatrin® Kitten Formula Cat Food with ¾ parts of your current Kitten food for 2-3 days. Over the next 5-10 days gradually increase the proportion of Performatrin® Kitten Formula Cat Food and decrease that of your current Kitten food until you are exclusively feeding Performatrin® Kitten Formula Cat Food.
